This compact loft apartment is the setting for a company entertainment centre with guest accommodation attached. Its spectacular view of the River Thames and the surrounding area is the focal point of the entire scheme. Volumes were placed to orchestrate a sequence of spaces that revealed, reflected and refracted the river view at various viewpoints. Materials such as low-iron glass, acid-etched mirror, acrylic rods and refractive film were used in the public spaces of the apartment to ensure that reflections of the view were carried through to the heart of the apartment. In contrast dark teak and chocolate brown leather were used in the more private spaces to create a more intimate atmosphere.
